Description

My design for my hamster :)

The only hardware you need is a 608 bearing, and everything else is friction fit.

you will need to glue the holder to the side of the container (mine is not a cage).

Then you can slide the wheel with the base in and out to clean whats underneath etc.

It works flawlessly and slient af.

Yea PETG is actually softer than PLA, you can try with PLA or PETG with fiber for a better regidity :)

Check the description, the wheel and the rod is compression fitted to the bearing (i.e. press in with some force), and the seat is glued onto the wood (hot glue etc)

I printed mine in PLA Silk ( the image ), maybe because my hamster was small ...?
