Juki UX8 Sewing Machine TGE Thread Cone Holder for Winding Large Overlock Thread Onto Small Bobbin

Preliminary note: for other sewing machines, I could check if it's feasible for you too. Therefore, I ask you to send me a message here on Makerworld.

Since I own a Juki UX8 and there was no way to use a large overlock spool directly mounted on top, I built this thread spool holder to wind thread onto the small bobbin. Because with the UX8, the only accessory is the white vertical holder (see pictures), and that doesn't work.

The holder is for TGE overlock thread, and the spool has a hole with a diameter of 3.3cm at the bottom and 1.7cm at the top. It is printed from PETG, and a suitable STL file is included where you can make your own adjustments, or you can directly use the 3mf file where I have already set everything up for you. (I'm also thinking of beginners here)

As always with the 3mf file, some things like the AMS color might be changed, so just synchronize it again, and everything will be back to normal.

Please also check if your printer is selected correctly in the Slicer, as I use the X1C. However, you can easily re-import your printer and use your print profile. In both cases, the file is already optimally aligned on the build plate with brim.

Please watch the short YouTube video to see how the holder works, and for any questions or problems, please send me a message here on Makerworld. I also want to thank all my followers and especially those who have supported me so wonderfully in recent months. Thank you all so much 😍
