Description

Put simply, this Bench Dog “Blade” is a low-profile bench dog with a quick-release head controlled by a fast-action cam for use on a workbench or MFT (multifunction table). It acts like any other bench dog to secure stock against a fixed point or fence, but lets you quickly clamp your piece in place, and release it without having to unscrew or release a traditional clamp, vice or holdfast. 20 mm and ¾ inch (19.05 mm) diameter versions available in separate print profiles.

Printed in parts and some minor assembly required. Refer to the diagram below. Use a flat head screwdriver to secure the bolt in place.

PLA was sufficiently strong for moderate clamping force. For additional strength, consider printing in PETG.
