Description

The ultimate expression of love for your most important loved ones

The Sound of Love Sculpture is a tangible expression of deep emotion, transforming the spoken words "I love you" into an elegant and contemporary form. Inspired by the unique visual pattern of a sound wave, this sculpture captures the unseen beauty of sound and sentiment, turning fleeting words into a lasting piece of art.

This model includes both the soundwave and the mold for casting the cement base. To complete this design, you will need a 2mm x 200mm stainless steel rod accessory, which can be sourced from most hardware stores or online retailers. I've used this one on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0962RMLVJ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

The finished piece should be approximately 10.25 inches tall.

I've used the Cement All mix from my local hardware store. you can use resin, cement, concrete or other heavy weight mixes of you choice. for a better idea of how to use the mold and how to put together the sculpture, please see my social post here with a video.

Plate 1 includes the two pieces of the soundwave

Plate 2 includes the casting mold for cement or plaster base.

This is my second attempt at this. I can't shift the layer lines on the top. Bambu pla silk + on a1 mini spool is in the drier whipe printing The only things I haven't tried is a .2 nozzle and printing vertically. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

unfortunately the layer line is always gonna be a problem on a curved/rounded shape. using solid matte filament makes the layer lines less visible especially looking from a bit further away. I tried to solve this too with not much luck, tried printing vertically but it uses way to much material for supports and also is not really stable

you might try to minimize the layer height in Bambu studio to make the layers less visible…

Replying to @SweeterMundane :
I think I'm going to slow it right down. and maybe use a .2 nozzle if you think that may work. obviously this is no fault of your design. Just the limitations of the machine. thanks for getting back to me.

Inspired by your idea, I decided to create my own version with my daughter's heartbeat in mind. Designed in Fusion 360 and constructed from four glued pieces.
