Description

3D printed router fence for a router table.

430mm long.

Prints well and is strong and square (no flex)

Track is smooth I printed the adjustable fence laying flat which uses supports, the plate in Bambu Studio I have included has the adjustable fence upright so no support needed.

The supports were easy enough to remove but still a pain. I felt it may be stronger laid flat. The choice is yours!!!!

I need to cut down the threaded bar to the correct length on the model pictured.

Also you may notice that the adjustable fence is 2 colours.

Bambu Studio for some reason didn't choose the correct filament with it's auto change thingy. Because of the time of print I left it as it was.

The rules and the stop tops were an after thought, I used super glue to fit them.

Feel free to use the included .f3d file to incorporate the rule and stop tops. I would ask that you do this for yourself only please.

Please be careful when screwing in the threaded bar as it will split the adjustable fence if screwed in too far. Again I used super glue to keep these in place.

The profile I provided works well even if a little long and possibly overkill.

Kit Includes

Main fence

Comes in 2 parts, I used super glue to glue them together. Make sure they are square and flat before gluing together. A little filing may be needed as supports are used on the flats.

Adjustable fence

Depending on how you printed it, it may need the supports removing.

2 stops.

2 stop tops.

Make sure you orient them correctly and fit them square and flush so the pointer is on the way.

2 Rules

215-0mm and 0-215mm

I used Bambu Labs PETG HF.

It is very good filament and cheap if you buy 4 at once.

Green as I always use Green for tools prints as they don't get lost in the sea of sawdust etc.

The profile I have included works well but takes a while to print.

8x8mm nuts

May need a tap putting through them.

Please use these as the back of the fence is lacking in space so anything bigger and you will struggle.
