Description

This is my first published model so any feedback is welcome! I designed this little slide-in bracket for Blackmagic's 3G SDI microconverter. I can't be the only video nerd/pro with a need to fix an sdi converter to your rig. It includes 2 recessed holes that will allow ¼ 20 screws to pass through them and mount it to a camera cage, cheese plate, etc. The holes are spaced  at the standard 18mm allowing for flexible mounting. Also, the print is solid enough in Bambu PLA basic to only need one screw. As you can see in my photos, I am using two different profile screws. If you use one with a smaller head, you can slide the converter in and out without removing any screws. If you use screws with larger heads, the converter is effectively locked into the bracket until you remove the screws. This can be especially convenient when moving the camera around a lot, adding/removing accessories to your rig, etc.
