Description

UPDATE: Added a slightly bigger 26650 set for batteries with protection circuit. Both sets are in the same profile. Simply regular or protected versions.

A small water resistant travel battery case for AAA, AA, C, D, 18650 and 26650 batteries in a variety of sizes.

Each case is split into a case and lid which can be printed in any material plus a gasket. The gasket will help with water resistence and is recommended printed in TPU. If TPU material not available, then the gasket can be printed in any material. A dab of superglue will keep the gasket in place when the lid is removed.

Like any 3D print, actual waterproofing is related to the quality of the print and is unlikely to be waterproof long term, however it has been tested for a couple of seconds in a washing up bowl which means it should be good for accidental dips and rain. Ideal for hiking and travel.

I was looking for travel battery holders and I came across there models. I really like this the design, especially the little seal that brings a special touch to be model that is not common. That is worth two boosts.

So I went out and got a bunch of TPU spools and re-printed the gaskets. Never used TPU before. Pretty neat!

nice design. didn’t like the tpu gasket as it was flimsy and loose. resized the dimensions to fit tip head and protected cells, and to remove the gasket gap.

AA Battery Case

Printed one for my flash batteries for the camaera. I didn't print the ring in tpu because it will be in my camera bag and it's already water resistant. It's working great so far.

Great design! I have been tired of having rubber bands break and this is great way to travel with extra batteries. Appreciate the TPU gasket to help keep it leakproof! Printed with Tecbears Silk PLA (black/gold).
