Cute Leprechaun Pot of Gold / Cauldron Candy Dish
Print Profile(1)

Description
I'm not gonna lie, I made this because I needed a creative way to stash my Sweet Tart jelly beans from my kids who will generally descend on any normal unguarded candy dish like a swarm of locusts. With St. Patrick's day coming up soon I figured a little pot of gold shouldn't draw too much attention amongst our other random 3D printed decor. And while it's still a bit early, so far it has flown under the radar with the kids.

For this model I took inspiration from my can cauldron, but it is a new design and it is not intended to hold drinks which allows for far more interior space inside the pot. Also I know 3D prints are generally not supposed to be used for food, but for hard or wrapped candy I am willing to take that chance. This could also be used for stashing any number of other items, or just to have a simple fun novelty decoration.
The “Pot” portion prints very easily and does not require any supports. There are two options for the the little gold pile lid. Option one is painted for an AMS so it can be printed in multicolor where the lower portion is black to enhance the effect, or there is also a single color version of the lid as well for non-AMS users.
