Renz Nameplate - Combo Cover + Insert
Print Profile(4)

Description
Boost Me (for free)
If you like the design, I would appreciate a boost.
On 12/10/2025, I published an OpenSCAD print profile that eliminates the tedious text customization in the slicer. The complete sign can be parameterized online and then downloaded as a print profile. This also solves potential font and size issues with a current version of Bambu Studio
You can find the parametric version here: https://makerworld.com/de/models/2100629-renz-nameplate-combo-parametric#profileId-2271636
------------------------------
Currently, I offer generators for the following Renz mailbox and doorbell signs:
RENZ RSA1: https://makerworld.com/de/models/2266594-renz-nameplate-rsa01-mailbox-sign-para#profileId-2470286
RENZ NS09: https://makerworld.com/de/models/2414866-renz-name-plate-ns09-mailbox-sign-para#profileId-2649335
RENZ Anti-Vandalism: https://makerworld.com/de/models/2100629-renz-nameplate-mailbox-sign-parametric#profileId-2271636
RENZ 07-112: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2624062-renz-07-112-nameplate-parametric
Signs in individual sizes: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2833718-mailbox-sign-nameplate-generic#profileId-3157856
------------------------------
The Renz nameplates for mailboxes and doorbell systems, and especially their covers, become increasingly unsightly over time. Especially when someone occasionally moves out and the signs are simply covered from the outside instead of being properly replaced
In this print, the following items are printed in one go:
- Nameplate insert 74x23
- Cover for nameplate suitable for 83x26 (Anti-vandalism version screwed from the inside)
Ideally, name customization takes place in the slicer/Bambu Studio (a name is predefined in the 3mf file)
I used PLA for the test prints, but it is advisable to use PETG for this, especially if the mailbox or doorbell system is outdoors and exposed to sun/weather
I think it looks great in the following combination (image with text Fassnacht):
Background: PETG HF White (33100)
Font: PETG HF Gray (33101)
Update 04/15/2025:
I have added 2 new print profiles.
1. Graduated measuring signs: In individual cases, there seem to be doorbell systems where the cutouts are slightly smaller. Usually, the 100% signs work. In these cases, scaling to 99% helped. The print profile contains scales down to 95%.
If many prints are planned, it is advisable to test the system beforehand with these measuring signs
2. Text templates: It is not that easy to place the text, especially when it becomes 2-3 lines. In the new print profile, I have created suitable signs with 1, 2, and 3 text lines each. These signs can simply be copied and the text adjusted in Bambu Studio
