Miniature Cast Iron Pot
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is a model of a typical cast iron pot with fitting lid. This is actually one of the first models I created with a 3D sculpting software and it took a while to get the support right so it looks great. There might be a small imperfection at the bottom of the pot base in terms of leveling, but its barely noticeable and I am working on a revision already. But I really wanted to publish this as I like the realistic look and I had lots of fun making it. The included print profile has support turned on and tweaked so that the surfaces look smooth. I accomplished this by using PETG as the support interface and PLA as the basic material. I set all the support distances to 0 so that they became really flat and smooth. Worked great. You may find lots of info on the web regarding the use of PETG as a support filament for PLA.
