Description

This meticulously crafted 3D model captures the iconic F-22 Raptor in striking detail, bringing the legendary stealth fighter to life with precision and functionality that elevate the modeling experience.

The opening cockpit reveals a finely detailed interior, complete with a realistic dashboard and pilot’s seat. Every component has been thoughtfully designed to mirror the authentic aircraft as closely as possible.

Another standout feature is the movable missile bay doors. When opened, they unveil accurately modeled missiles, enhancing the realistic appearance of the fighter. The construction ensures smooth movement of these parts even after printing, providing both visual appeal and interactivity.

To ensure the most authentic representation, special attention has been paid to accurate proportions and aerodynamic form, reflecting the true design of the F-22. The model is optimized for 3D printing, with each part carefully engineered for straightforward production and assembly.

Adding to its display potential, the model includes a cinematic-style stand designed to showcase the Raptor in a dynamic, in-flight pose. The stand not only provides stability but also enhances the visual impact—making it appear as if the aircraft is soaring through the skies.

This model is the perfect choice for aviation enthusiasts, collectors, and 3D printing hobbyists seeking a premium project. With its combination of functional features, detailed craftsmanship, and stunning presentation, it’s not just a model—it’s a centerpiece that commands attention.

Support Issue:multiple attempts to print and it failed every time. right around layers 50-70. filament dried. printer slowed down and even resliced because the supports were painted on weird. the only way I got this to actually print was to use default supports and the print still came out bad. it’s a shame I wanted to print this.
Strength Issue:after I completed the rear portion it was awfully thin. it also seems like the seam is set on the tip of the wing. I didn’t check but it left the wings looking wispy. Printed on P2S with Bambu grey PLA from Handy App and Bambu Studio

Was this done on purpose to make things difficult? I’ve lost count of how many missile bays and missile compartment doors I’ve discarded, reprinted, and discarded again because the hinges break just from looking at them, and if you manage to assemble them, attempting to open them to view the interior of the missile bays breaks them anyway. The same happened with the pilot’s compartment dome; assembled without instructions, but I closed all the missile bay compartments. I gave up because the hinges kept breaking. Regardless, the model is beautiful; it’s a shame about the hinges—too thin and delicate. I’m still giving you a boost for the model; if you improve the hinge system, it would be magnificent
