Collapsible Pokemon Katana (Print in Place)
Iām excited to introduce the Collapsible PokĆ©mon Sword! This version features a smooth folding mechanism, making it even more fun to use. The design includes two variations of the end capāone with a clean, sleek finish and another featuring the iconic Pikachu symbol.
The blade extends and retracts effortlessly, and the handle has been optimized for a comfortable grip. Everything fits together securely, ensuring a satisfying experience when handling the sword.
This project prints beautifully, even on compact 3D printers like the Bambu Lab A1 Mini. I managed to print it without supports, and the final result was fantastic!
You can print it in one color or experiment with multicolor options to bring out the details! :)
Note:
- This is a model katana and should not be used as a weapon or given to children for play.
- For best results, I recommend printing with PLA+ or PETG on a Textured PEI Plate.
- If the adhesion of your printerās plate weakens, consider using glue to improve grip and prevent your print from failing midway, saving filament and time.
