can you make this for the flash forge 5m pro but make it extended? theres plenty of room between the handle and the door but they give you this lil piece of plastic to hold haha. if i didnt suck at cad i would design one myself but theres to many buttons on that stuff for me.

You can download the stl file for .6-3-96, which works on the ff 5m build plate, and remix it to your liking in tinkercad, free and super easy to master. Have a try at it, and share your remix 💥

thanks google helped me on how to edit the file, was a little triky not being able to size it. i had to cut the one wall in just the right place then scale that section then reasembe it. by the looks of the layers it might have killed the structrual entegrity as there wasnt much room. but its printing now. i added my own twist to it as well to rep my buisness.

if need be i can add the stl file for others, ill report back on if it holds up, the curved edge has me concerned were the added part connects, its basically 2 outside walls worth of material. sorry this was my first edit ever, and im still dialing in my printer too. owned it a week now ha.

I have an old small printer, and could use one of these in .4-4-45 size.

What size should I print out for the ai mini?

If you have the original A1 Mini build plate then this grip is not suitable for it. This grip is suitable for build plates with 2 small holes like in the photos of the model.

And where can one obtain these perforated printing plates? Specifying potential suppliers would be most helpful

Hi! Yes it has large space between the 2 notches which would require a different design. I don't have that plate and it would require providing a drawing with precise measurements..

I just purchased a numakers icegrip build plate for my AD5X. It is .85-2-78. I tried your .6-2-77 and it just barely wasn't wide enough. I tried the .4-2-80 and it was wider than needed. So I'm wondering if you can make a .85-2-78. I'm new to the 3D printing and have no editing skills yet. Thanks for the help.

Best to use ABS or PETG so it does not deform or melt when heated
