Description

CAUTION: DO NOT PUT TIPS ON THE HOLDER WHILE THEY ARE STILL HOT!

 

*Not ESD Safe, but it can be if printed with ESD safe filament

 

I made a holder for the extra tips that come with the Yihua 959D hot air rework station. I'm not a big fan of having the tips loosely kept all over my desk, so this helps me have a place to keep them and to make them easier to find when i need them. 

 

The station comes with bolts on both sides for the blower holder, so you should already have bolts to attach this thing.

 

I made one for the left side and the right side that sits flat, and I made a third one that can go on either side and holds the tips at an angle to make them a little more visible. 

 

Again, don't put tips on this holder until you are sure that they have cooled off. And if you want this to be ESD safe, it needs to be printed with ESD safe filament.

This works well on my 992+ as well. I do have to oblong the left bolt hole a smidge due to the mounting differences between the models, but otherwise it fit perfect and solved the problem of where to store the tips.

added a negative cylinder in the fourth mounting point in the slicer to hold the other part that came with the station. worked out great, takes m4 screws for anyone who needs that info.
