Description
It's a simple wall-mount for a turkey baster. While it was designed for my favorite turkey baster, it may work for yours too. If there is interest, I will publish additional models for different sizes and shapes of pipettes or basters.
I recommend printing in PETG or other food-safe, water-resistant filament. PLA is probably fine, but it may degrade over time, especially if you use this with hot liquids in the kitchen. I actually use it for luke-warm water so any filament would do, but PETG is my go-to for the fish room.
The forked catch at the top slides around the main tube just under the ridge where the bulb attaches. Most turkey basters have a hard plastic tube and a soft rubber bulb, and a ridge/rib at the top of the tube where the bulb attaches. This is where the fork grabs it. In my case the hard tube extends below the rib about 148mm and it's about 64mm in diameter at that point. If yours is similar, it should work great!
While this could certainly be used in the kitchen, I am an aquarium hobbyist and fish tank enthusiast, and the turkey baster is probably my most-used tool for fish keeping. I always wanted a good place to put it after catching live food or drip-acclamating some fish where I didn't have to worry about the drip, or about forgetting where I set it down, so I made this.
