Description

50mm U-hook for my prosthetic leg! & crutches… After printing the RepRap Filiment Shelf, I found out that the French cleat fits into the picture rail in my house. The U is on an angle so my shoe does not fall off. Stands out 130mm from the wall. 80mm wide, and the distance between prongs is 50mm (because the shaft on my leg is 40mm). The cleat is at 45 degrees. The picture rail gap is 50mm & the depth is 38mm. I added a screw hole to lock down the cleat. I printed with a smooth plate & ironed the top so the sides are super smooth. Printing sideways gives the best strength to the print so the prongs don't snap. I lowered the infill & increased the wall thickness. I made it on Tinkercad.com because I'm a noob at 3D printing. Any suggestions are welcome!
