Poseable wall-mounted USB lamp

This model works in conjunction with the LED Lamp Kit from Makerworld (any version) to create a versatile USB powered wall-mounted work lamp.

Through the use of four lockable pivot points, the lamp can be adjusted to the optimal position for your work, or folded in “half” (or aligned vertically) when not in use.

The thumbscrews have been mounted on a separate plate purely for aesthetic reasons and to eliminate colour swaps and waste. If you wish to print all components in the same colour, just move them from the second plate to the first. (Please read notes below).

Notes:

• As with any model, please take care when removing supports, around the cable retaining hooks especially.
• Supports are NOT recommended (or required) for the thumbscrews, so if you move them from the second plate for single colour printing, please move the support blockers along with them.
• Take care to remove all traces of support from the threaded sections of the models. Due to the intricate nature of the parts, support is required on the threaded section, and leaving fragments of supports in the threaded area can cause thread-lockup. After support removal, running the thumbscrews through the threads a few times from both directions (before final assembly) is advised.
• You will need to provide your own screws to affix to the wall. Ideally, support screws should have a thread diameter of no more than 4mm, with a head diameter of no more than 7mm. (The Makerworld LED kits come with their own screws for mounting the lamp on the head plate).
