Description
This is my take on an insert for Cascadia board game (Base Game).
Finally printed a copy of my Cascadia board game insert on my A1, so uploading profile to MW. This is same version as posted here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5890504 with minor tweak to score card holder (removing magnet spots).
This insert is designed to replace the cardboard insert provided with the game.
Here is explanation of different models:
- TileStackHolder - (x4). Land tiles are stored in these and the holder can be used during play. Designed with an open side for ease of grabbing next tile during play. 22 tiles can be stored in each, I put a line marker to indicate 21 tiles for ease of counting. Note there is magnet spot if printing the AvailableTilesTray (See below).
- ScoringCardTray - (x5) Each animal type gets their own tray for holding the cards to ease game setup. Note, my cards are sleeved so tray was designed with that in mind. The profile plate has one card holder, but could clone to print two at time.
- PineConeHolder - (x1) Simple tray for holding the pine cone tokens
- ComponentBase/TileStackBase - (1 each) These are designed to fit together and stay in the box and hold the other components in place, leaving plenty of room for animal token bag.
- AvailableTilesTrayDouble - (2X) This is optional. This is designed to be used during play to hold the currently available land tile/animal token choices. Can be nice if wanting to reposition the tiles during play to give everyone easy access to selecting tiles. These have places for 6mm (diameter) x 3mm (thickness) magnets, and will then magnet to the TileStackHolder.
I used .2 layer and I did not use any supports when printing these (various colors of PLA/PLA+).

Thanks for reading, and if anyone does print this, I would love to see pictures.
