Description
Overview
These custom wire nuts allow you to waterproof twisted/soldered electrical connections that may be used close to water or outdoors. This low-cost build only requires hot glue or epoxy to seal the connection. These wire nuts were used for an electric bike lighting system.
Materials and Printing
We suggest using TPU, PETG, or PLA for these parts.
- Infill: 15%
- Walls: 2
- Support: Disabled
Assembly
Required materials
- Wire nut
- Hot glue or epoxy
- Begin filling the wire nut cavity with hot glue or epoxy close to full.
- Dip the wire connection into the wire nut cavity and hold to ensure it dries properly.
- All done!
