Description

This chibi model of terapagos, inspired by the official pokedoll plush toy comes in at a total length of 8cm.

The cover photo was printed using Bambu blue PETG HF and Sunlu twinkling blue PLA

This is the most challenging model I've designed so far, and contains a lot of small parts which require excellent bed adhesion to stick. If you're struggling to get them to print properly, I'd recommend thoroughly washing your build plate with soap and water, and applying a small amount of glue from a glue stick to the build plate before you start printing.

I would also recommend printing this model on a smooth print bed for the best results, as some of the bottom layers are visible in the final print. This model was printed using Bambu's cool plate supertack.

The model can be press fit together, however I'd recommend a bit of glue for the best results, as some connections can be a little loose.

The eyes of this model need to be printed on a standard paper printer, and you can find them in PDF form on this page. Print them at 100% scale, and use the 15x15mm square to make sure they printed at the correct size. There's two options to choose from, once has a dark blue background to match the PETG used in the cover print, the other has a white background. These will need to either be printed on glossy label paper, or can be printed on standard printer paper, covered in clear tape, and glued into place with a small amount of white glue.

If you're not using the included print profile, I recommend printing this at a layer height of 0.1mm with a brim enabled for all the smaller parts. Support is optional, but I'd recommend a small amount around the neck of the shell as it can sag a little otherwise.

easy print, done in blue pla and ice blue matte pla and hand painted the eyes. some of the pieces were hard to fit together. It was hard trying to figure out which leg goes where otherwise good job on the model.

The eyes are made of printed paper covered in sellotape, you could also use label paper to make them if you have some.

unfortunately not, the details are a little too small to 3D print accurately. this is why I chose to make them out of paper in the first place.

Legs are very difficult to put together and I don't like the paper eyes but this is utterly adorable. I think I'll print another in the future and handpaint the eyes :3

I'd love to do an okidogi sometime, but no promises when. I mostly make these models when the inspiration hits me.

if you check on the page for the model, you'll find 2 PDFs here in the assembly guide section. these contain the PDF for the eyes. one with a blue background and one with a white background, use the one you'd prefer. To make the eyes, I printed one of them off on a normal paper printer, covered them in clear sellotape, and cut them out. Then I used a little bit of white glue to stick them into place.
