About

For the ease of taking off and mounting all my Christmas Star (A1) replacement lamp shades, I created an alternate mounting plate that clicks into the lampshade and is not separate like the old version.

You can find all my lamp shades here:

Printing

I recommend using PETG for the print, as it makes it a bit more flexible and easier to insert into the lamp shade.

But PLA works too.

Further it is necessary to have a really clean build plate as the contact area between the bed and the print is quite small.

For me, using a cryogrip/supertack plate worked the best and I could print large quantities (see pictures) without failure.

Mounting

To mount the print into a lamp shade, just firmly press it into the hole. It will snap in place.
