Japanese Style Geodesic Pet Bed - Cat

I have updated the print profiles by including copies of all the plates that need to be printed, to provide an overview of the material and time required for the project

This is my remix of the splendid project by Abby575
This is a pet house inspired by the Japanese straw cat house called "Neko Chigura"

The inner diameter is designed to be 400 mm, so a cushion of this size will fit perfectly

This remix simply modifies the design of the cutouts in some panels and reduces the radius on the corners of the pieces to minimize gaps at multiple panel joints. My cat's name is Etta, so a panel with her name has been added, you can modify it

Instructions

1) A total of 129 panels are needed

The number of pieces required for each panel type is as follows:

panel 2 (NAME) includes the name Etta, change it to your pet's name
for those who don't know how to do this, you first need to right-click on the text object in the object list and change its type to “NOZLE”, now you can modify the text and then change it back to “negative part”

PRINT PLATES
I have prepared the print plates to include the maximum number of panels in a single print, they are already divided by type and color, refer to the parts list to see how many plates to print

2) Use 102 cable ties
I used cable ties with a fixed width of 4 mm. Since it is uncomfortable to work with a short cable tie, I used 200 mm long cable ties

3) By referring to the images and matching the letters of the alphabet, you can enjoy assembling it like a puzzle, create your own color combination
