RV Slideout Brace Bracket

My travel trailer (or caravan if you're not from the US) has a slideout section that requires a brace to be installed to prevent it from sliding out while being towed. Getting that brace to stay put while being tightened was all but impossible, because there was nothing to hold the end up against the structural part of the side wall while the brace was being twisted tight.

So I designed and printed this simple bracket to hold it in place. This has saved me countless minutes of frustration and prevented the utterance of innumerable curse words when preparing my camper for a road trip. (Although I did say a few choice words while installing the bracket.)

I printed it flat on its back to maximize strength around the mounting holes, with minimal supports painted on around the front edges. (Version 1 split along the layer lines because I printed it upright. Version 5 has a thicker back and should last much longer.)

Printed on my Anycubic Mega S at 0.16mm layer height using GST3D's Red PLA+ (because it's CHEAP).

I'm including the Fusion 360 file as well as the 3mf file from PrusaSlicer so you can see how I handled supports. Love PrusaSlicer's paint-on supports!
