Description

I couldn't find a Deburring tool case that fit my AFA Tooling BS1010 Deburring Blade and 11 spare blades from Amazon as only the shorter or fat versions have been made, so here you are.  This doesn't require metal pins or anything extra to hold the hinges in place.

If you like the standard slim AFA Tooling Deburring Blade you can get it here on Amazon:

The print shown was done on a Bambu A1 printer using a Cool Plate Supertack, tiny optional use of supports, and Bambu Labs PETG HS filament for a smooth finish.  I also created a second version with a small notch taken out of each side for anyone having difficulty attaching the hinges as it's a tight fit and this has no adverse effect on them.  This v2 plate version with the notches also has the “AFA TOOLING BS1010” model text debossed inside.

Both models have a hole under the head of the tool for placing two 3mm magnets to help hold the tool in place.

Filament Requirements:

At a minimum PETG is the ONLY filament that has been tested and proven to be strong enough for the clasp and blade retention. Other stronger filaments such as ASA, ABA, and CF may be adequate as well but haven't been tested. Over 10 prints were made to test this model and several different filament types.

PLA filaments are not strong enough for delicate parts like hinges, those will break and require superglue to repair which can usually fix the model. No designer can account for untested filament material, poor bed adhesion due to cleaning or wear, and “wet” filament usage.

For the best results always make sure to use recommended filament, dry your filament prior to use, and clean your plate with Dawn dish soap or isopropyl alcohol.
