Description

This is a realistic scale model of an Offshore Wind Turbine Jacket foundation. When scaled to 70% print size, it is representative of 1:600 scale 15MW wind turbine foundation, with the jacket structure scaled to sit in approximately 60m water depth.

This foundation is compatible with my wind turbine 15MW scale model: https://makerworld.com/en/models/783718

The model is designed to be printed without supports, but requires to be printed in high quality to increase cooling.

Hello, I would like to ask how to avoid the possibility of breakage and unevenness when printing?

is this using my print profile? what material is this? try slow down the print, put it on “high quality” profile. I had similar issues printing too fast. also try lowering the filament temperature. has this been scaled in size too? my profile worked perfectly without supports using high quality setting.

I reduced the scale to 35%. At what speed did you print it?

This model with the wind turbine is a real highlight I adapted almost everything so that a motor, a battery, and a switch could be integrated Now the wind turbine spins

Great I have a SGRE14MW wind turbine model file here. I wonder if you can make one?

I could certainly modify the base to fit the model if that is the request?

Good evening, Would it be possible for you to share your file for your D14 wind turbine please? I have been working on the Le Havre site for 4 years and have assembled the D7 Hybrid and the D8, but unfortunately, we no longer manufacture Nacelles 😥😥😥 only 115m blades at the moment. I would like to print a Gamesa wind turbine as a gift for my boss 😉 Thank you for your reply. David

Hey! I love your work, thank you for sharing this. Can you help me with a scaling? I want to scale the tower to 15in instead but I'm not sure how to scale the plate properly.

I'm trying to print this on A1 mini and twice it has become spaghetti. Not sure if it is losing adhesion from the plate during print. I'm pretty new to printing. I tried a slower speed 2nd time but still didnt work. Is there anything else I should try in settings etc to get a successful print? Thanks!
