.308 / 7.62 Bullet Tobacco Pipe Tamper & Dottle Pick Tool

I always wanted a novelty pipe tamping tool. I had plenty of .308 once fired casing sitting around begging to be used. Here I present to you my take on the classic Brigham Bullet Pipe Tool.

It serves as a Tobacco Pipe Tamper as well as a Dottle Pick or Scoop. It is the perfect weight to allow the gentle tamping needed to keep a good smoking pipe going. No additional pressure needed.

It also looks really cool and is a great conversation piece. 

The print is a simple one. 
 

A NOTE ABOUT MY PRINT PROFILE:
PLEASE DONT CHANGE MY SETTING UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING AS THAT MAY RESULT IN UNDESIRABLE RESULTS.

I used Brown PLA. You can use any color that is to your liking.

You will need the following:

• 1x Once fired .308 WInchester or 7.62x51 NATO Bullet Casing
  • MAKE SURE IT IS CLEANED AND PREPPED. 
  • MAKE SURE MOUTH AND NECK ARE IN GOOD SHAPE AND ROUND.
• 1x Stainless Steel Wax & Clay Sculpting Spoon / Ear Wax Removal Tool. I used the following from Amazon but they are available elsewhere. You also dont have to buy a 50 Pack, but I found many uses for these tools.

• The 2x 3D Printed Parts

In addition you will need: Sandpaper or Sanding Sponge, A Mallet, Isopropyl Alcohol & Some Finishing Oil.
