V2 of my sanding blocks set with tightening - some parts are redesigned for easier print (front system, no twisting when tightening). But the original V1 version is still good and works.

I will add more blocks shapes over time.

The first batch are standard 20mm, 25mm, 50mm and 20mm open blocks.

It is very easy to print without support and assemble without any additional parts or tools.

The standard V2 block requires approximately 240mm of sandpaper.

Open V2 block requires approx. 275mm sandpaper.

Everything is designed for printing with standard 0.2mm profile of PLA or PETG and without support.

If you want some specific shapes of sanding blocks, please leave me a note or comment and I will make it for you.

If you are not using my print profile and just download the stl files, I highly recommend using 4 perimeters for the top screw knob.

printed with ESUN PLA+, screw was too tight, I was barely able to screw it in and it broke mid way. when I printed with Bambu lab PLA Basic it fit much better

Hi, thank you for feedback. The screw should turn with minimal resistance. What filament did you used?

It looks like it is a bit ovrextruded on the screw and that is the reason it is very tight. I have all set-up with Bambu basic PLA filament with default settings (PA and Flow). But I check the CAD and I can change the tolerance so it should be easier to print it with other brands.

Works great, thanks! I would make the knob for tightening the sandpaper on the 50mm set more accessible or bigger. Especially for people with bigger fingers its hard to get in there and twist it...

These printed perfectly and the tensioner mechanism is just brilliant! I love that these don't need any hardware. The tolerances on the tensioner screws were a smidge tight, but wore in beautifully with just a few cycles. I have printed similar things in the past and really found them handy, but tensioning the sand paper was tough. These solve that problem entirely! I can't wait to get in the woodshop and use them! Thanks for sharing!!!
