2 colored detailed Tie Fighter as a HomePod mini Stand

you need Black and Grey Filament for the Print.

to get good prints, i cut the Wings in two pieces

after printing you have to glue the wings together and plug the Wings, Gun and Antenna to the Body.

When you have insert the HomePod, you can screw the back-holder to the Tie Fighter.

you can put it on a desk or screw it with “GoPro” holders to a wall…

 ==> Thanks to Dominik B.

GoPro mount

other HomePod holders in my channel:

TIE Bomber - HomePod

TIE Interceptor - HomePod mini

Everything printed fine. But in putting it together the wings dont g o into the body by much at all. Am I supposed to drill that hole open? Glue them together? It just seems as though it was meant to push straight in but the female end isn't deep enough. Please advise @iLab

Hi, with my X1C and PLA it fits perfectly with a bit force together. To ensure everything keeps together i also glued it… but it should fit perfectly… maybe you can show me a picture where exactly it did not fit?!

The connection is very loose. It's not tight at all. SO it's not that it didnt fit, its juts that it cant be left like this. From your feedback it seems I would need to glue it?

This is how far it should go together.... and then glue it :)

Really cool model I printed the back part with PETG CF and secured it using the screws that served as the transit locks in my P1S Then I attached it to a microphone stand using a GoPro tripod mount adapter and that's how it now sits on my refrigerator

AMAZING print! One of my favorite things I've ever printed! Just need to figure out a good way to mount it under my garage door opener (I printed this specifically for my garage HomePod mini; figured I'd print it while painting and doing some improvements to the garage) I used black PlaticBonder epoxy to glue the wing halves together, and it made them incredibly rigid, highly recommend using it. Kudos to the creator for such a phenomenal design!

An absolutely world-class model! I printed it first and enjoy it every day. With a GoPro adapter, I attached it to this microphone stand and now it sits on my refrigerator
