Description

My wife still holds the red provisional license and the brittle ones issued by service NSW either broke in the environment or fell off our vehicle due to insufficient velcro. Neither the front nor the back of our vehicle works with magnetic ones, so I prefer the original plastic shape.

Luckily I found https://makerworld.com/en/models/976986, which has the green P plate readily available for remixing.

So I remixed it by importing .stl file downloaded from that model into TinkerCAD, removing the existing “P” & circled “100” texts, and then adding a new “P” & circled “90” texts. These then were exported as .obj for printing in BambuStudio.

I printed my first one using white & red PLA. Not sure how long it would last in the environment. It is much thicker than the original (Services NSW-issued) ones. So hopefully this one will outlast my wife's remaining red P period.
