Atavistic Strawberry Sprouting

Plants possess not only delicate beauty, but also a captivating array of exotic and unusual flora.

I have created a whimsical strawberry (exhibiting atavism in the seeds, reverting to leaves—not sprouting!), featuring 151 receptacles adaptable for standard strawberry seeds.

Successfully assembled using PLA printing, requiring no adhesive—though somewhat painstaking!

Assembly Tips:

• Install the strawberry seeds first (easier)
• Then, install the leaves from bottom to top (more challenging)
• Finally, install the strawberry stem (easier)

The strawberry seeds are remarkably easy to install; they simply snap into place.

If using alternative materials, I recommend pre-testing the cavity and single-part shrinkage ratio, potentially scaling the leaves down to 98%.

The leaves of varying sizes can be arranged randomly for a more natural look; larger leaves are suggested for the top.
