Description
If there's any chance you can vent it out
DO IT !
doesn't matter you're printing PLA or ABS
there's always something you shouldn't breath in the air
vent it out always the best option
----
this system was on my printer over two months
just turn on the chamber fan at low speed
and it does take care most of the smell of filament
----
you will need 3 inch flexible vent hose and two clamps for it
if the window is more then 8ft away from your printer
add a low speed inline fan will help
80mm fan fits well for 3 inch hose ( theres adapter in print profile)
you also need 20 8x3mm magnets for quick connect
that will make maintenance easier
the part attach to the printer use one M3x12 screw and three scraper screws come with your printer
----

this shows the right side flap is stopping outdoor air getting in when the printer isn't working
and the left side printer chamber fan is on
---
the system can be install horizontal or vertical by use different flap in print profile
the flap can stop the cold outdoor air gets into your printer
you might need to make sure every flap move freely
trim it as needed
let me know if you have any issues install it
i'm here to help as always :)
Update Jan 29,2025 : add connect pin to main print profile
