The result is excellent, however, the gears in this orientation appear somewhat difficult to rotate; a vertically oriented gear design might be preferable

Fundamentally a sound design. Unfortunately, the planetary gear is quite wobbly and, in my opinion, unnecessary. The nose of the smartphone mount is too short; I designed and printed an extension.
