Description

requested by my 6 yo son, I was looking for Pokemon trophies, but none of the ones I found had good enough detail to replicate the original anime details, so i took the picture and re-drew everything from scratch.

In the spirit of reducing Bambu poop, i designed the wings to be glued on, but if you don't want to glue things, I have included an All-in-One version, basically removing the 0.2mm clearance I added between the ball and the wings.

The original anime showed the base in maghogany or burgundy color, which is not something I have on hand, so I defaulted to black. also, my Xmas filament pack hasn't arrived (I ordered on the second batch, sad face), so I used some silky gold, instead of the sparkly gold, which would look amazing on this model, but I'm pretty pleased with how this one turned out

as you can see, I got lazy and used auto-tree support, which didn't work out perfectly for me. took me a while to remove all the support, and had to use a soldering iron for some final touches. maybe I'll break this into additional pieces once my Xmas pack arrives for a finer look.

UPDATE 12/23

I have added a plain plaque that you can add whatever text you want, and glue onto the base of the trophy. it has four stud to appear as if it's a screwed on plaque.

UPDATE 12/27

added a wingless version as per requested.

UPDATE 2/2/2025

added a break down version of the model, including an insertable plaque where custom text can be added.  the breakdown model requires some glueing to assemble, but completely removes any overhang on the visible part of the model, significantly improves the overall appeal.

Printed a bunch out for the big surprise finale at my son's Pokémon themed birthday this weekend. Can’t wait to hand them out, these boys are going to feel like true League Champions!

This turned out fantastic and the kids were super excited to get to win this at a recent Pokèmon tournament! It was easy to glue all the pieces together and looked really cool in Rainbow Silk PLA.

Replying to @topxnbo :
Yeah, I painted ONLY the gold part, then I did a clear coat of the gold and silver wings, brown base was only printed with brown abs filament.

support removal from the phone print was horrific. I sat here for 30 minutes and I still don’t have them all off
