Transformers Siege Megatron Articulated Mace
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is an articulated energon mace weapon for Transformers Siege Megatron, as seen in the G1 episode “More Than Meets the Eye, Part 2”. You will need super glue and metal wire(0.75mm in diameter, or roughly 0.03in) to assembly it(assembly further down). It is articulated in 7 places, providing enough for any scene. The actual mace ball part is in two pieces, for ease of printing. The piece that goes over the hand needs supports, and the small “chain” pieces have supports(mainly because they are so small, so they don't stick to the bed that well. And because of their size, a brim is way to hard to remove).
Assembly:
Step 1: Cut the .75mm wire to a length of 85mm(3.33in).
Step 2: At one of the ends, make a small “U” shape(sorry some of the photos are the best, used “Macro” mode, and wasn't quite close enough to the object).

Step 3: Slide the wire through the small hole on the inside of the piece that goes over the hand.

Step 4: Slide the 6 small “chain” pieces onto the wire.

Step 5: make a small “knot/U” on the other side of the wire, and put it in the slot on the mace half piece. If the wire is to long, then you may have to make it shorter.

Step 6: Once everything is the right length and fits, put super glue it the wire slot and on the half of the mace. Line up the other half with the wire slots ans the spikes, and glue them together.

Step 7: I would now recommend gluing the U shape on the other side to the hand piece. Make sure it is flat to the piece, and that it is vertical.

And you are done!
