Description

I was looking for a way to add removable wheels for moving my Smitty sled over pavement without trashing the ski bottoms. I wanted to keep it as light as possible. The body is 3D printed the body in solid ABS and uses a 3/8" solid aluminum rod (or threaded rod) for the axle. I purchased some 3" casters from harbor freight and repurposed the wheels from them.  Add a stud or ¼" bolt through your skis as a mounting point for the ski skate to slip over and now you can wheel you Smitty over grass or from the parking lot to the ice.
