Description
This is a work-around for those Creality K2 Plus owners who experience a failure in their extruder's PTFE tube's Pneumatic connector such that it stops holding your PTFE tube. You can use this with an M10 Pneumatic connector that will allow the PTFE tube to pass completely through all the way down to the bottom of the stock extruder's Pneumatic connector.
Recommended to be printed with a filament that can handle some heat, such as ABS.
You'll also need a 25mm M3 bolt for the left side of the part and a 8mm M3 bolt for the right side.
Major, enormous thanks to eth0whelm for creating 90%+ of this model, here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1020734?from=search#profileId-1002016
Changes that I made from the original:
- Removed threading from the Pneumatic connector's hole, resized the hole so it's self-tapping and added a steep chamfer to help guide the M10 threads roughly to the right location.
- Massively thicked the right side of the part as I snapped through a few of the original really easily on that side
- Altered the left side of the model so that instead of purely fastening by snapping in to place, you now also have the option of using a 25MM M3 bolt to secure it with the extruder body (I found I really needed this after a few prints)
