Description

This is a recessed wall box. I used this to plug some USB sockets behind my Home Assistant wall panel.

Perfect.. I had to modify it smaller as I had a 2x6 behind the area I wanted it but fit perfect and good quality. Used it to run my amateur radio wires through the wall

Jaxel, thanks for sharing this print! What is the awesome screen you show in your video that compiles the thermostat, security cameras, lights, etc.? That looks like a super handy platform!! Also wondering if you have any videos that show how you change the outlet from a standard wall outlet to a recessed one? Thanks in advance!!

Hey; I have some suggestions for improvement; I utilized this in a horizontal application. I used a Keystone jack and couldnt fit it into the wall with the keystone installed due to the angles. I suggest for horizontal applications the unused corner be cut off to allow the box to slide into place. I would also suggest screw holes opposite the GPO outlet to make doing the screws up easier. Do you allow remixes?

Super cool design and have added it to my list of things to print. With that said, if you are in the US the receptacle requires a back box. If there's a fire in your house (even if this isn't the cause) there's a chance your insurance claim will be denied. Please make sure that you utilize an old work box inside the wall in conjuction with this neat design.

This worked very well for installing a digital calendar on the wall. Much better and cheaper than off the shelf options.

Could you upload this model with no outlet hole on the side so we can drill our own hole? Thanks great model!
