Description

This model was made to add support for a small soap loaf mold to keep sides from bowing out when filled. ASA was the filament of choice for this since cold process soap heats up as it gels.

The 4" mold this was made for is on amazon titled “Mose Cafolo Silicone Soap Molds Square Handmade Small Loaf Bar DIY Swirl Making Mould”. If you are into making soap and use this mold then the support box is a useful tool. There is a hole in the bottom to make removing the mold easier. My wife uses it with great results.

Printed perfect but I did not measure my soap mold and it did not fit. Mine were from Brambleberry and are not the same shape. I was lazy. Very well thought out. I printed mine in PLA. I will give it a shot with a new mold to see if it holds up under the heat of gel phase. It is a very nice print!
