UPDATE: March 15, 2026

  • New design
  • more realistic rounded edges
  • stackable

After the Soviet ammunition box for 7.62x54r, here is the version for 7.62x39mm

This small box is a replica of ammunition crates for the famous ammunition of the renowned AK47 Kalashnikov and its variants

The markings are a reproduction of a crate I own They are therefore perfectly realistic

It can hold 20 staggered rounds

Shooting enthusiasts and collectors will appreciate its unique design which allows you to combine sport with collecting

I also offer a profile with settings that work for me to prevent warping (reinforced bottom) However, this is not a universal solution, so I recommend adapting them to your filament and your machine's specific characteristics

Find the 7.62x54r version here:

I glad that this little modification solved your issue and I'm sorry to not have see that earlier. Thank you for your nice photo, I'm jealous of your real crates collection ... ^^

UPDATE: @Deto_nation has fixed the issue, prints great! When I try printing the stackable lid, after the Letters are laid down, it immediately starts the next layer on top of the letters, rather than around it on the same layer. I tried on multiple machines, and even tried to slice it myself. Does anyone know what might be going on?

Hello I checked the .3mf file for the stackable profile It seems there was a slight offset between the lid and the marking on the Z-axis I have corrected the file which is now online Can you try it now and confirm that it has solved the problem

it's funny that you ask that because I just have created this evening a kind of connector for that purpose... But I know that it woud be easier with an integrated part at the bottom of the box. I will work on it. Thank you for your comment.

Love the print. Super useful. Do you think you'll ever add little feet at the bottom so they stack neatly ontop of eachother?

Ok, I hate to seem stupid but am new to 3D printing. How does the markings meld with the box lid. The file I downloaded has the markings as a separate file. Thanks in advance for your advice.
