It has been approximately three months since my last creation, the Haidai Tower. My technical skills have significantly improved in the interim. This project serves as an experiment to determine the minimum detail achievable with a 0.4 nozzle. Consequently, the model is printed at the smallest possible scale; any further reduction would compromise the discernible detail of the windows. Furthermore, as this lantern is designed to hang, the internal locking mechanisms are somewhat intricate.

The architectural design is based on buildings in Jinan. Feel free to search for them!

This model is quite large. I will release a smaller, mini version of Duanyun in the coming days!

Printing Details:

*The images showcase the model printed using Bambu PLA Light Gray. Dimensional accuracy has been verified. If your filament is too loose, please use glue!

*Matte filaments are not recommended (while technically feasible, I advise against them to ensure optimal detail and structural integrity).

*PETG will result in slightly less detail but is still usable.

*Ideally, use a robust filament (one that doesn't break easily).

*Please contact me immediately if you encounter any printing issues. (Kindly specify the filament used). Thank you for your feedback.

*Use pliers to remove supports (only the eaves supports are challenging to remove. The others snap off easily. Using pliers minimizes the risk of injury).

Model Usage Tips:

*Hanging: Please install the hanging mechanism yourself.

*Configuration: Two types of architectural accessories are provided. You can string them together as desired.

Color Separation:

While separate color configurations are not yet available, the model is pre-separated into parts, allowing for easy custom color application. For instance, you could use gold for the roof and white for the windows.

Lighting Details:

This model utilizes a remote-controlled waterproof light (from TuZhu, connected using nano adhesive). Other lights are also suitable; for example, strip lights, or you can simply insert several bulbs.

The model's interior is spacious. To facilitate customized lighting, no specific light fixtures have been incorporated.
