Penn Elcom Data Cabinet Hinge Repair Piece

A simple print to replace the black plastic hinge pin retainers on Penn-Elcom data cabinets.

I had a batch of 3 cabinets delivered by a courier but 2 of them were handles poorly and as such the plastic hinge pieces that hold the actual metal hinge pins were destroyed.

The company replaced these but allowed me to keep the old cabinet, so i simply whipped up these pieces to replace the old ones.

11-02-24 - REV2 print profile now added which includes a small protrusion. This fits through the cabinet door just as the old one (and the original one did) but allows you to then rotate the piece to lock it into place so it doesnt fall out of the door every time you take the door off!
