3D Model: Hydroponic Net Pot (36 mm Compatible with Nelson Garden/Harvey Plugs)
This is a hydroponic net pot with a 36 mm diameter to fit standard hydroponic systems like Nelson Garden.
It can hold Nelson Garden / Harvey plugs but is also intended for use with coconut coir.

Material Considerations and Risks:
The net pot can be printed in PLA or PETG. However, there are several important considerations:
- Material Degradation: PLA is biodegradable and may degrade over time when exposed to water, nutrients, or UV light, potentially reducing the system's lifespan.
- Bacterial Growth: The porous surface of 3D-printed parts, especially with PLA, can harbor bacteria or algae, which may affect plant health and water quality over time. Regular cleaning and maintenance are recommended to mitigate this risk.
- Chemical Leaching: PLA may leach substances into the nutrient solution, which could impact plant growth or safety. Users should research alternatives like food-safe or water-resistant materials (e.g., PETG or polypropylene) for more durable and safer results.
