Description

This is a remix of a creative Benchy labeling method by HRM Studios, be sure to check out her collection. This is a fantastic way to label your Benchy collection to keep track of colors and filaments.

I find printing Benchys for color swatches a better solution compared to flat cards as the different patterns and curves more closely shows what the final colors and sheen will look like.

In this remix I resized the flag specifically to accommodate Phomemo's 12mm x 40mm labels and tweaked the base for a more secure fit. (The actual flag size I made is 14x42mm to leave some room)

Some tips:

  • Recommend printing on a smooth plate for best fit. I found that textured plate undersized flag base
  • Flag Base may need to be adjusted ±0.05mm for a snug fit depending on your benchy
    • Fits my PLA and PETG great, my ASA ones were very tight
  • I was able to export a spreadsheet of all my filaments into the Phomemo PrintMaster app and batch print all labels with the same format

If you are needing a different size, the model file still has the base and flag as separate parts for easy resizing to meet your needs.
