Today I designed some flower buds that can bloom, as shown below. The blue circle shows the printed version, and the red circle shows the bloomed version. No supports are needed; it's a print-in-place design.

After printing, if you have a dryer, you can put them in to soften the petals before manually opening them. If you don't have a dryer, you can use a hairdryer's hot air to blow the base of the petals or gently heat the base of the petals with a lighter to soften them before opening. Caution: When using a lighter, don't heat for too long to avoid burning them.

Gradient filaments are recommended for better results.
