Motorcycle kickstand slippers (anti-scratch puck)
Print Profile(1)

Description
Easy-to-attach antiscratch slippers for your motorcycle kickstand (no support needed!)
This is a quick and easy print if you don't want to scratch the surface under your motorcycle kickstand. I've made a bunch of it out of TPU with 0.6 nozzle, in less than 30 minutes / slippers, but even with a 0.4mm nozzle it's just under 1 hour. You can print it with PETG as well, but you will achieve a very good fit with TPU and the help of a cable tie. PLA is not recommended, since it won't hold on for a long time under a heavier motorcycle.
Assembly:
You need to measure the widest cross-section of the bottom of your kickstand. You can download this model in two different size (48mm and 58mm), it doesn't need to be exactly the same size in millimeters, just choose the closer one. If you want a very accurate fit, you can scale up/down in your slicer, but I didn't need scaling on any of our motorcycles in our dealership.
You need to tighten the strap while twisting the clip 90 degrees and it will simply fit inside one of the holes. If you need an even better fit, you can use any (or both) of the two bottom holes with a cable tie, just don't pull on the cable tie with too much force, because the TPU will tear apart.
My print settings for Sunlu TPU (0.4mm nozzle):
- Layer height: 0.2mm
- Wall loops: 2
- Support: no need!
Note: Don't pull the cable tie too tight, because it will tear the TPU apart, and you don't need a tight cable tie for a good fit.
