Gaggia/Joe Frex Portafilter Tamping Station

This is a simple tamping station set for the “Joe Frex” brand bottomless portafilter for Gaggia Classic that is commonly available on Amazon and other places. It consists of the base and a dosing funnel that sits on top of the portafilter. The base is designed to support the portafilter without tipping over, and the funnel keeps grounds from spilling out as you load the filter with coffee and distribute the grounds with a WDT or other tool.

This item (especially the funnel part) is a kitchen tool and so you should consider printing it with “food safe” materials, although in practice food doesn't really come in contact with it (other than some ground coffee). That said, I cannot make any statements  or warranties about this model's suitability or lack thereof regarding kitchen use or food safety.
