Working in an open space can be challenging, especially when frequently interrupted by questions that break concentration. To address this issue, I designed a practical status indicator, easily attachable to a monitor or any other surface.
How it works:
- Green disk: I am available for discussion. This signal clearly indicates to everyone that they can come talk to me.
- Red disk: I am focused and prefer not to be disturbed. This signal encourages others to check back later.
Design:
The object is printed in multiple plates, eliminating the need for an AMS system. All parts easily assemble for a clean and functional result.
I hope this indicator will be useful to other people working in open spaces. :)
