Description

Created a more secure mount for the Govee TV Backlight 3 Lite camera on an LG C2. I have the TV on a MantelMount and the standard mounting for the camera doesn't account for a TV that gets moved around, which causes the calibration to be off.

The mount also accounts for the backlight led strip as well, mounted 1" from the television's edge.

Attached with double-sided tape from 3M and now doesn't even wiggle. No more recalibrating the camera when the TV is put away.

2025.02.20 Update:

Print profile updated to accommodate for strength to reduce chance of the camera channel breaking.

It exploded during insertion due to the width of the T3 lite However, it holds the camera securely above the screen

Thank you for the feedback. I'll add a note to print for strength instead of standard.

It doesn’t fit even after sanding the piece

Is your camera specifically the Govee TV Backlight 3 Lite? Possibly a newer version? Also, check that your model is not getting scaled.

You'd have to find if the thickness of your LG screen is the same as an LG C2, which is ~6.5mm.
