Description
This model is a portable small pill box, measuring 90*30*13mm, with a novel design.
It features ample storage space, rapid printing, and a compact, portable form factor.
Features:
- Compact and portable, with fast printing; requiring only a 40-minute print time and 15g of filament.
- The interior compartment is a large space measuring 58*22*10mm, suitable for storing numerous pills or small parts.
- A novel slide-cover latch design provides smoother operation and increased durability.
- MakerWorld lettering adds a touch of style without being ostentatious.
- This model can be scaled down slightly for use.

*The appearance of this model is somewhat similar to my previous models, this model is a redesign:
- To enhance the pill box's strength, the shell thickness has been increased to over 2mm.
- The slide track has been redesigned; the new track is more robust and smoother, and the lid has been modified to a semi-enclosed structure, making the edges more robust and less prone to accidental opening.
- The latch has been redesigned from circular to cylindrical engagement for increased strength, durability, and a crisp closing sound.
- The circular ring on the top eliminates the need for a resistance groove design, resulting in a more refined and visually appealing overall appearance.
- Brim has been incorporated into the minute details of the model design; there's no need to set a brim in the slicer software, improving the print success rate.
- The interior features a single compartment.
*Based on feedback from my previously released pill box models, the structural design has received considerable support, and many designers have expanded upon this structure in various ways. I also appreciate the improvements made by some models, but my pursuit is perfection, so I continue to refine certain structures to address structural flaws. Before releasing each model, I conduct rigorous testing under various conditions, including but not limited to:
- Usability testing, including size and functionality.
- Structural design testing to ensure proper functionality.
- Aesthetic design focused on achieving a simple yet attractive appearance, avoiding ostentation.
- Design considerations specifically tailored for FDM 3D printers to enhance print quality; reducing or eliminating the need for supports; and strength testing.
- I have also conducted what I believe is a unique test involving filament with varying shrinkage or expansion rates, testing functionality and making adjustments after printing to ensure consistent usability for users employing diverse filament types (currently tested only on various PLA materials).
