Updated 20250126

Some friends gave me feedback that the stormtrooper walking was not stable because the helmet was too heavy and high, this situation did not happen when I tested it before,  but now I found it's easy to happen. So I redesigned the model, lowered its height, and changed some details, making it easy to assemble. Now that the version 3.0 is available, I kept the V2.0 models and assembly introduction, in case someone still likes the model.

Updated 20250125

Initially, I wanted to design a stormtrooper's helmet that could be printed with 2 color filaments together in AMS and printed well with no support, just like most of my models did. So I designed all the overhang edges on the helmet to chamfer surfaces.

Finally, I found that the support can not be avoided, and the helmet can be tilted on the hotbed, so the chamfer surfaces are unnecessary. Then I modified the design, to keep more details of the original helmet, and uploaded the 2.0 version, as the image below shows.

A famous figure in Star Wars, everyone knows it.

With the “Wind-Up Walking Mechanisms” from Maker's Supply Store, you can build your own Stormtrooper Army now!

I separated the white and black parts, so there's no need to use AMS to print this model.

Assembly Introduction(V3.0):

A wind-up cap with the Galactic Empire logo is available, you can print it individually with the print profile(0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm nozzle)
